Luzane Investments Ltd is a prominent consulting and investing company based in the vibrant and diverse United Republic of Tanzania. Our mission revolves around investing not only financial resources but also knowledge and strategic execution for our clients and our expanding portfolio. Established in 2007 primarily to hold and manage purchased farmland, we have maintained a consistent and steady focus on investing across various sectors. With our diligent efforts and strategic vision, we have witnessed considerable growth over the years. In 2013, we recognized the need to broaden our services; thus, we launched the consulting wing of the business, which has successfully served numerous international organizations and companies across East Africa and Southern Africa.

Our extensive experience in the region has allowed us to forge strong relationships and understand the unique market dynamics. In 2022, the investing wing of the company ceased direct operations to streamline our approach, choosing instead to work through agents, partnerships, and by setting up subsidiaries, thereby enhancing our reach and impact. This pivot has not only diversified our operations but enriched our capabilities. We have observed a remarkably symbiotic relationship between consulting and investing, where insights and strategies developed through consulting lead to informed investment decisions. Knowledge and ideas that are diligently executed indeed generate significant value and wealth, benefiting both our clients and the communities in which we operate, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable development and corporate responsibility.

Our Consulting Director has over 20 years’ experience in developing manufacturing and operations management strategies from a strong background in Textile Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Operations Management. Consulting focus areas have been in textiles & garmenting from a value chain perspective, agribusiness business model designing, market systems development approaches in industry interventions, project development with fund raising, international trade and logistics.

Investing is driven by knowledge and collaborative approaches. Investing is focused on partnerships through agents and subsidiaries where shares or directorships are held. Investing areas range from agribusiness, toll-manufacturing, market development and brand investments.
